Who runs this site
This site is operated by Coalition for Geoengineering Research, based in Pasco, WA 99301. By using the site you agree to what is on this page. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
What the content is
This site publishes research summaries, field notes, educational material, and a library of links to outside sources. It is here to inform the public.
It is not professional advice. Nothing here is medical advice, legal advice, engineering advice, or environmental compliance advice. Do not use it as a substitute for a qualified professional who knows your situation.
Science changes as evidence comes in. We may update, correct, or withdraw anything on this site. We try to be accurate, but we do not promise that every page is complete, current, or free of errors.
Outside sources and links
Our source library links to journals, agencies, news outlets, and other organizations. We do not control those sites and we are not responsible for what they say. A link is not an endorsement, and it does not mean that source agrees with us.
The same goes the other way. Where we reproduce a letter, a seal, a logo, or a video from another organization, that does not mean the organization endorses the Coalition or agrees with our findings.
Who owns what
The text, layout, photographs, and graphics we created for this site belong to Coalition for Geoengineering Research. You may read them, print them, and share them for non commercial and educational use, as long as you say where they came from and do not change their meaning.
Please ask us first before republishing our material commercially. Logos, seals, and quoted material belong to the organizations they came from, and our permission does not extend to those.
How you may use the site
Please do not do any of the following.
- Break the law, or use the site to harm or harass someone.
- Try to break into, overload, or interfere with the site or its systems.
- Scrape or copy the site in bulk to republish it as your own.
- Send us anything false, or claim to be someone you are not.
When you send us a message, an observation, or a photograph, you keep ownership of it. You give us permission to read it, keep it, and use it to plan our research. We will ask you first if we want to publish it or name you.
Donations
This website does not process donations itself. There is no checkout and no card form on this site. Our Donate buttons take you to a checkout page run by our payment processor, and the processor’s own terms apply to the payment. You can also arrange a gift directly with us by email, phone, or mail.
Receipts, how a gift will be used, and how it is treated for tax purposes are settled directly with us and not on this web page. If anything we say to you directly differs from this site, what we agreed with you directly is what counts. If you have a question about a gift you have already made, email contact@coalitionforgeoengineeringresearch.com.
No warranty
This site is provided as is. We do not promise that it will always be available, that it will be free of errors, or that it will be free of harmful code. You use it at your own risk.
Limit on our liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Coalition for Geoengineering Research and the people who work with it are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses that come from using this site or relying on what is on it. This includes lost data, lost income, and decisions you made based on the content.
Some states do not allow these limits. If yours does not, this section applies to you only as far as your state allows.
Privacy
How we handle the information you send us is covered in our Privacy Policy. Health information has its own page, our Consumer Health Data Policy.
Which law applies
These terms are governed by the law of the State of Washington, United States, without regard to conflict of law rules. Any dispute about this site belongs in the state or federal courts located in Washington.
Changes to these terms
We may update this page. When we do, we will change the date at the top. If you keep using the site after that, you are accepting the updated terms.
